Home of the 25th Infantry Division and one of the largest Army installations in the Pacific. Central location gives quick access to both shores.
Joint Base Pearl Harbor–Hickam
The largest joint installation in Hawaii — home to Pacific Fleet HQ, the 15th Wing, and thousands of Navy and Air Force families.
MCBH Kaneohe Bay
Mokapu Peninsula on the windward side — surrounded by turquoise water and the Ko'olau mountains. Home to Marine Corps aviation and infantry units.
Fort Shafter
Home of U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) HQ. Historic post right in town — one of the shortest commutes to downtown Honolulu.
Camp H.M. Smith (INDOPACOM)
Perched above Pearl Harbor with a commanding view of the South Shore. HQ for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.
Tripler Army Medical Center
The iconic 'Big Pink' hospital — largest military medical treatment facility in the Pacific and a major employer for medical PCS orders.
NCTAMS Pacific (Wahiawa)
Naval Computer & Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific — the Navy's primary communications hub for the Pacific theater.
USCG Base Honolulu (Sand Island)
District 14 HQ — right on Honolulu Harbor. Cutters, response boats, and the hub of Coast Guard operations across the Pacific.
USCG Barbers Point (Kalaeloa)
Air Station Barbers Point flies the C-130s and MH-65s that patrol the Pacific. Located on the former NAS Barbers Point, next to Kapolei.
Bellows Air Force Station
Bellows AFS is a small Air Force installation on the Windward coast used primarily for training, recreation, and MWR — famous for its beachfront cottages and one of the best beaches on the island. Most personnel work at nearby MCBH or JBPHH and live in Waimanalo, Kailua, or Kaneohe.
